The foundation was founded by Sugar Land Fire Captain Greg Hopper in 2016. He previously raised awareness in 2015 for Law Enforcement by raising over $65,000 for fallen police officers with the I’ve Got Your Back campaign. With the money raised, Back the Brave will be able to assist and help firemen and their families. The lack of support and publicity for firemen is something that must change. With the formation of Back the Brave, we will be able step up and assist when help is needed.
